If you think your bird is ill, call your Avian vet. as soon as possible. Birds hide their illness and by the time you notice their symptoms they are already sick.
The health section of this website is to help the finch-keeper recognize a symptom and some options on what to do. It is not meant to be used as a list for cures. All we can do is try and offer advice on what to do or what has worked for us in the past.

I also want to add that there is so much information on the internet that its hard to tell which one to follow. One article says one thing then you read another article and its different.
Don't base your decisions on one persons information or view point, keep researching until you feel confident in your choices.
If every author's advice or view point on Avian care was correct or the same, we wouldn't have so many books on one subject.
All Rules Have Exceptions, Otherwise They Would Be Laws.
